A practical approach

An audit that leads to an actionable fix list.

Findings become useful when they identify affected pages, business impact and a practical way to check the repair.

Start with evidence

Review representative service, category and content URLs alongside available Search Console information and the website’s current structure.

Distinguish indexed and live states

Search Console’s URL Inspection tool can show information about an indexed URL or test its current state. Those views answer different questions.

Prioritise and assign

Group findings by urgency, impact and dependency. Give the implementation team a specific action and an acceptance check for each priority.

Audit scope, implementation and follow-up validation are defined separately so responsibilities remain clear.

SEO Audit

What we’ll deliver.

Review up to 250 URLs and turn the findings into ten evidence-backed priorities your team can act on.

  • You want an independent starting point.
  • Previous audits produced long lists without priorities.
  • You need to know which findings require development or content work.

Set the audit questions

Confirm the website, priority services, access and the concerns the review should answer.

How we check it

Agree the URL sample and identify unavailable data before analysis.

Inspect search and page evidence

Review technical, content and local signals in the context of the enquiry journey.

How we check it

Validate findings against affected pages rather than forwarding unreviewed tool warnings.

Prioritise ten findings

Describe the issue, business relevance, recommended fix and acceptance check.

How we check it

Assign impact, effort and dependencies so the team can decide what to do first.

Explain the implementation roadmap

Walk through the audit and resolve one round of clarification.

How we check it

Record which findings need development, content or access work; implementation is scoped separately.

Your handover

Audit with affected URLs, impact/effort roadmap, a sixty-minute review and one clarification round.

Before you decide

Questions worth asking.

What will I receive, when, and who implements the fixes?

You receive an audit of up to 250 URLs, ten prioritised findings with impact and effort, a review call and one clarification round. Each actionable finding should show the affected page, evidence, recommended change and acceptance check. Implementation is excluded from the audit price; use your developer or agree a separate fix sprint.

What does a useful finding look like?

It identifies a specific issue and the page or template affected, explains the business relevance and gives a testable fix. The example below shows that structure. A tool warning without validation is not a completed recommendation.

Can the audit become an implementation plan?

Yes: assign each accepted finding an owner, dependency and release stage. Confirm implementation effort after access and code review; the audit estimate is not an unlimited development commitment.

What is the starting budget and what is separate?

$500 – $1,250 / audit. One-off; implementation quoted separately These are published USD prices. The written quote must state the complete cost, payment schedule and applicable taxes.

When can the work begin and what do you need from me?

7–10 business days after access. To scope the work, prepare: Website; concern; available analytics/access. The schedule starts after the required access, inputs and approvals are ready.

How are revisions, extra work and support agreed?

Use the listed deliverables and exclusions as the starting point. The quote must state acceptance checks, review rounds, payment stages, cancellation arrangements and any ongoing support. Requested additions need an agreed cost and schedule before implementation.
